Lab tour 2014

We went to north-east Taiwan with lab members on July 7-8 2014. First, we had lunch in 瑞芳. At the restaurant, beaf noodle was good!

We then took a train to go to 十分 and walked around the riverside.

Landscape of a waterfall is so beautiful!

Surprisingly, we can walk along the railway though a train comes every 30 min.

Also, we prepared a lantern with our wishes for successful work, monery, and happiness. We wanna have more papers and research budget :)

We went back to Taipei and had dinner at a restaurant.

We stayed at YH near Ximen station. It was confortable.

The next day, we moved to Tamsui by MRT.

We had lunch at the famous Chinese restaurant 紅楼餐庁. Graduating students, Kellin and Lozu treated, thanks a lot!

We visited historic places related to Dr Mackay who established Mackay Memorial Hospital (馬偕紀念醫院).

We hired bikes and went to the quay, 漁人碼頭. These bikes were so unstable and difficult to handle!

We really enjoyed the trip!
