Masaki attended MC13 and met his former supervisor Prof. Michael Turner at University of Manchester and Masaki's former student Chih-Wei Chu from University of Munster Germany.

During this period, Masaki had a research discussion with the strong collaborator Dr Jeff Kettle at Bangor University and his collaborator Prof. Lucas Fugikawa Santos (Departamento de Física, Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP).
